At Kids Power Force, we are more than a martial arts team—we are a family committed to helping students grow stronger physically, mentally and spiritually.
Kids Power Force is a division of United Karate Concepts and was formerly known as UKC Kids. Two years ago, we transitioned to the Kids Power Force name to better represent the strength, purpose and growing vision of our program.
We are a Christian-based martial arts organization.
The POWER in Kids Power Force comes from the only true source of lasting power—Jesus Christ.
Biblical principles are intentionally woven throughout our instruction.
Our goal is not simply to teach children about Jesus, but to encourage them to develop a genuine, personal relationship with Him.
The Founder
Grandmaster Leonard Haney, 8th Dan
Founder and Chief Instructor
Grandmaster Leonard Haney is the founder of Kids Power Force, United Karate Concepts and the Senka Te Karate Do Self-Defense System.
With more than four decades of martial arts experience, he has trained extensively in Karate, Kung Fu, Kenpo, Jiu Jitsu, Jeet Kune Do Concepts, Filipino Martial Arts, Hapkido, Silat and Muay Thai.
His vision was to create a practical, evolving self-defense system that combines the most effective elements of multiple martial arts styles.
In 2017, he was promoted to 8th Dan Black Belt and received the honored title of Grandmaster.
He has also been inducted into the Martial Arts Masters World Hall of Fame and received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to training, teaching and advancing the martial arts.
Grandmaster Haney continues to teach students of all ages while building a family legacy rooted in faith, discipline and service. Above every rank and achievement, he gives all honor and glory to Jesus Christ.
Kids Power Force™
Practical Martial Arts for the Real World
Although our foundation began with traditional karate, Kids Power Force has evolved into a practical, modern martial arts system designed to prepare students for real-world situations.
Our current curriculum incorporates effective elements of:

By combining elements of these disciplines, students develop skills that are realistic, practical and useful while still receiving the structure, discipline, character development and measurable progression associated with traditional martial arts.
We teach that martial arts is not about looking for a fight. It is about developing a strong mind, a capable body and the confidence to make wise decisions. Students are taught to use their skills responsibly, help others, avoid unnecessary conflict and defend themselves when there is no safe alternative.

Building strong bodies, disciplined minds and Christ-centered spirits.
Warriors of the Creator™ teaches that through daily prayer, Bible study, and faith-based martial arts lessons, kids will deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ while learning important life skills like humility, patience, and respect.
The experience also includes the Warriors of the Creator™ children’s book series, featuring faith-filled adventures that teach courage, identity, kindness and perseverance, along with the Warrior Anthem Vault: Songs of Strength and Faith, an uplifting album created to reinforce biblical truth through memorable music.
Together, the training, stories and songs prepare young warriors to stand strong, shine brightly and live confidently as unique creations of God.
The Creator's Shield™
Bully Prevention and Personal Safety System
The Creator’s Shield™ is our comprehensive Bully Prevention and Personal Safety System. It is designed to give children practical tools for recognizing, avoiding and responding to bullying, intimidation and potentially dangerous situations.
Students learn how to:

Recognize verbal, physical, social and emotional bullying

Identify cyberbullying and respond safely to harmful online behavior

Protect their personal information and make wise choices when using social media, online games and digital devices

Save evidence of cyberbullying, block or report harmful accounts and seek help from a trusted adult

Avoid responding to online cruelty in ways that could escalate the situation

Identify unsafe, threatening or manipulative behavior

Use confident posture, eye contact and clear verbal boundaries

Respond calmly and firmly without unnecessarily escalating a conflict

Seek help from parents, teachers, instructors and other trusted adults

Protect themselves if they are physically attacked

Home School Martial Arts™
Warriors of the Creator, At Home and Beyond
Welcome to KPF Home School Martial Arts™, an engaging online coaching program that combines Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu to help children develop practical self-defense skills, physical fitness, discipline, and confidence.
Created by Grandmaster Leonard Haney, the program gives kids a clear path from white belt to black belt through age-appropriate lessons designed for students of all experience levels.
Parents may also choose the Parent Companion option and train alongside their children.
The program strengthens the whole child through two additional unique components.
The Creator’s Shield™ teaches bully prevention, cyber safety, personal boundaries, stranger awareness, and practical ways to respond to unsafe situations.
Warriors of the Creator™ provides the spiritual foundation through Bible lessons, prayer, quiet reflection, and Christian character development.
Together, these elements help children grow into strong, respectful, faith-filled young warriors who are prepared to face life with courage and purpose.
